Tassat Hair & Body is committed to protecting all our clients and staff against the possibility of contracting illness due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus.
We understand that the coronavirus is highly contagious and that we need to have measures in place to ensure any risk of infection in the workplace is minimised.
We trust that all clients and staff will understand that the requirements to keep everyone safe are essential and are not intended to cause any hardship to anyone. We have a duty of care and we intend to ensure that is provided to everyone.
Due to limited numbers allowed in the salon at one time, if possible, we request that you attend your appointment unaccompanied by dependents or partners.
Following government recommendations, we ask that upon entering the salon that you wash your hands whilst still maintaining social distancing.
Our Hygiene Policy
- Avoid touching your mouth, face and eyes.
- Regular hand washing and sanitising is an essential part of this plan.
- Upon entering the salon, we ask that you wash your hands at the basin before sitting in your chair. Our staff are washing their hands and using hand steriliser between every client, at a minimum.
- Paper towels and tissues are used and disposed of in bins provided, immediately after use.
- Coughing and sneezing is done into tissues or elbows, but not hands.
- Bacterial wipes or hospital grade disinfectant is used on shelves, counters, eftpos machines and registers, or wherever there are areas used by several staff or members of the public.
- Where and when possible, clients are separated by 1.5 metres from each other.
Tassat Hair & Body has an obligation under the relevant Workplace, Health and Safety Act to ensure the safety and well-being of all our employees and we hope that everyone will do their best to cooperate with us and keep our salon virus free.
